Spirituality

Spirituality is the act of being fully human by discovering and revealing ourselves through love.  There are 4 key areas in developing spirituality – self, others, beauty and the world, beyond.  Our spirituality framework outlines the areas of the curriculum and aspects of school life in which we seek to develop children’s spirituality.

Alongside our ‘Big Questions’ assemblies and curriculum opportunities for developing we also encourage the use of our ‘Prayer Space’ to give the children a space to reflect.  Each term we hold an ‘Ethos Afternoon’ where we look at our vision and values along with aspects of spirituality. 

In our Big Questions assemblies we identify with the children, which area of spirituality we are developing that day.
