Welcome to the Ospreys class page.
What a fantastic and exciting start to the new term! We have been on many adventures and learnt many new skills already. This page will be updated regularly with photos and descriptions of what the children have been learning. It will show you how the children in Ospreys are aspiring to do their best, flourishing and achieving in all aspects of their learning journey.
World War II Evacuee Day
The children had a great time taking part in a variety of exciting activities. They learnt about rationing, make do and mend, dig for victory and worked on a sketch of St Paul's Cathedral during the Blitz.
Here We Are
Our note to Earth
At the end of our unit exploring our world, the children created a note that they would want to pass on to someone. These notes featured various slogans and phrases to promote key messages, such as thinking of others, recycling, reducing pollution and how to show acts of kindness.
The mystery of the missing cups!
The children kick started our new English unit by becoming spies and using various techniques to work out who the culprit was. They used code cracking, dusted for finger prints, revealed secret messages and deciphered some clues to reveal an iPad code. They had great fun :)
