Number day - The children had a fantastic time carrying out investigations using the book How Many Legs and loved dressing up with numbers in mind.
Thank you to everyone that attended the Reading Morning at Vicarage Road on the 8th November. It was great to see a buzz around reading!
Our Topic this term is How Does Your Garden Grow?
For this topic we will be focusing on Art, ICT, Geography and Music.
In art we are going to be examining the clay sculptures by Angela Schwer and Lundin Kudo. We will learning how to mould and use clay to create a 3D flower sculpture.
In music we will be learning to sing and clay the pulse and rhythm, through the exploration of different styles of music such as blues, baroque and Jazz.
In geography we will be doing fieldwork and mapping out the classroom and the school grounds and using a key.
In ICT we will be programming algorithms using BeeBots in order to move around a map.
I am looking forward to sharing the children's learning with you as the term progresses.
