Information for Parents

We hope to provide all the key information here that will help you to support your children through their time at our school.

Year 6 Sex Education Videos
For parents with children in Year 6, the videos accompanying their sexual education session can be found here.


Holiday Authorisation – All holiday requests for children over 5yrs old are unauthorised and any unauthorised absence over 10 sessions (5days) are reported to Devon County Council in accordance with the Government guidelines Absence Request Form.


Breakfast Club – This is available for all pupils to join.  The club runs every morning during term time at the Woolbrook Road site from 8:00 – 8:40am. Breakfast of cereals, fruit, yoghurt and juice will be provided and the children are encouraged to play games together. The cost is on a sliding scale per session depending on the number of children – £3.00 per day for one child, £5.40 per day for two children and £7.20 per day for three children and is payable in advance. To secure a place at the Breakfast Club please complete the Breakfast Club Registration Form even if you think you might only use it on a few occasions. Children from the Manstone site will then be escorted to school by a member of staff and children from the Vicarage Road site will be transported by minibus (30p extra). Please note there is no crossing patrol on duty at 8am.


After School and Holiday care is available from Otters Childcare an Ofsted registered provider for all children aged 3 to 11. Operating from Sidmouth C of E Primary School, Manstone Avenue site.
