Welcome to Class RB!
This week we have been consolidating our learning all about frogs! The children have loved seeing our tadpoles grow and can't wait to see them as froglets! We also went to Paignton Zoo; the children were fantastic on the trip and very well behaved! They especially loved seeing the tiny frogs and the elephant being fed! Take a look at our pictures below! Also a big thank you to those who came on the trip, we are really grateful for all of your help.
Over the past few weeks, the children have closely observed the journey of our class caterpillars turning into a chrysalis; soon to be butterflies! Mr Newton will be taking them home and will keep us informed of their changes after the holiday! We're excited to see what happens!
We also really enjoyed learning the trigraphs (three letters making one sound) ear, ure and air.
Finally, have a lovely Easter break! We can't wait to hear all about your adventures at home!
If you have any questions about your child's learning or how to support them at home with their new learning please do not hesitate to speak to me in the classroom or on the playground!
Star of the week!
Our star this week is Solomon for his fantastic attitude to learning!
Well done, Solomon!
