Apologies for lack of updates on 3/4S and their learning. An unfortunate incident (dropped iPad) has meant that there have been no photos taken in the first couple of weeks back.

We are back up and running now...

We have completed a range of assessments in class recently. The children have worked really hard and most of them have actually enjoyed the challenge! Spelling has been noticed as an area for improvement in 3/4S. Can children please be encouraged to use the Spelling Shed online programme where possible. Many thanks, Mrs Stuart.

Kick sampling at the Byes. We investigated the stream’s habitats and uncovered and identified the creatures we found. We were fortunate to find a wide variety, and were surprised at how much life there was under the surface.

Welcome to 3/4S's Page

34S have settled back in well after the lovely half term break.

The children are continuing their topic this half term - Ancient Egypt and will be learning about irrigation techniques. They will design, build and evaluate their own shadouf!

We will be doing lots of times tables this year, and are always grateful for your support at home with this. It really does help.

We are always looking for adult readers to come in and read with the children. Please let me know if you or perhaps a grandparent would like to help with this. It is sure to be fun and rewarding!

Do you have any ideas for this page? Why not let your teacher know.
